My Entourage

I have a secret. I have an entourage that follows me pretty much wherever I go in my house. I call them my dogtourage. I have a black Lab named Lucky and we are keeping my father-in-law’s Lab-Golden Retriever mix, Lady. As I work from home, they like to be near me. As I work my home based business from the office, they lounge around waiting for an idle hand to nudge with their nose to get attention. When I get up to get some water in the kitchen, we all go get some water in the kitchen. I get escorted to the bathroom and escorted back. The only backbiting that happens here is if they have an itch. They are my cheering section when I celebrate my successes and my consolation givers when things don’t go as planned. It’s a very loving and supportive environment.
